January - brought us lots of snow, which the dogs enjoyed and Freya also blessed us with seven gorgeous pups on the 21st - Stregato Ruzzola (Bonnie), Stregato Northern Exposure (Harris), Stregato Northern Lights (Cleo), Stregato Saint and Sinner (Floki), Stregato Simon Says (Kai), Stregato Chinese Whispers (Lucy), Stregato Play Dirty (Indie).
February - was a quiet month enjoying the pups and playing in the snow.
March - brought us the Beast from the East. We were cut off from civilisation for 5 days with 10ft snow drifts. The heating boiler packed in and we had 6 week old puppies. Thank goodness for coal fires! The pups started leaving for their new homes towards the end of March and Bonnie stayed here with us. We attend Scottish Breeds on the 31st of March with Nala who again pulled out all the stops and won BCC and BOB under judge Hannah Walder. Nala absolutely loves the show ring and is doing us proud.
April, May, June and July brought some glorious days in the sunshine with the dogs. We celebrated our 50th birthday in June with family and friends.
August - We welcomed 6 beautiful pups on the 25th August from Katy and Bram. Stregato Blue of Hearts (Fynn), Stregato Black Opal (Brodie), Stregato Clash of the Titans (Odin), Stregato Persephone (Perrie), Stregato Stone Rose (Mani), Stregato Enchanted Moon (Ruby). This is our first litter at Stregato with blue merles and we absolutely love them!
September and October - were busy months with the pups and spending time in the garden. The pups left to go to their new homes in October.
November - We attended L&P Ch Show with Freya and Amy. This was the first time both girls had stayed away overnight in a hotel and they absolutely loved it. It was also Amy's first time at a show! She was very excited about the whole experience and totally blew us away when she was awarded RBCC under judge Angela Harvey. Freya was placed 2nd in a very strong open class.
December - We didn't have any shows booked in December. We enjoyed a lovely festive time with family and friends...…...and the dogs obviously!
